Biography

Ivan R. Rosado, M.D. is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.  He has a particular interest and expertise in Thyroid and Parathyroid disorders.  In fact, his entire practice is dedicated to performing thyroid and parathyroid surgeries.

After graduating from Winter Park High School, Dr Rosado obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from The University of Central Florida in Orlando.  He obtained his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville.

Dr Rosado’s internship and initial surgical training were obtained at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston,Texas.   He then worked in an American Indian Clinic associated with The Indian Health Service in Farmington, New Mexico.  Dr Rosado completed his surgical training at the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency in Phoenix, Arizona.

Dr Rosado has practiced in Central Florida since 1986.  He loves spending time with his grandchildren and enjoys running, bicycling, hiking, music and reading Spanish and French.
